CULTURE OF INNOVATION AWARDS
Purpose:
The Manor Schoolhouse Foundation (MSF) wishes to recognize five individuals (one from each of the five target groups) working in Manor ISD who promote a “culture of innovation” in their work or share their creativity and innovation more broadly outside of their classroom or work environment. Examples could include recognizing individuals who mentor other teachers, develop and share new resources, lead training, sponsor campus activities, etc. The MSF wants to recognize the innovation being shared that inspires others.
Eligibility:
Potential award winners must work in Manor ISD and may include contracted employees working within the district. Potential award winners must be nominated by someone who is familiar with their work (e.g., supervisor, co-worker). One winner will be selected from each of the following target groups:
o Elementary School Teachers
o Middle School Teachers
o High School Teachers
o Campus / District Support Staff (any level)
o Campus / District Administrators (any level)
Process:
Nominations must be completed and received through the Google nomination form. Nominations for each targeted group will be requested and accepted during a specific period of time during the school year. Nominations will be reviewed and selected by the Manor Schoolhouse Foundation Program Committee throughout the year. Award winners will be selected by the MSF Program Committee members by consensus based on a demonstration of a culture of innovation in their work. Potential award winners will be presented to the full Manor Schoolhouse Foundation board and the appropriate Manor ISD staff for final approval. Award winners will be recognized at Manor ISD Board meetings following this proposed schedule (subject to change).
Nominations for the categories open in the Spring.
Funding Amount:
Each award winner will receive a VISA gift card funded by the Manor Schoolhouse Foundation.
